Born in Ogbomosho on March 19th, 1941, Mrs. Comfort Adeola Ogundepo was the daughter of late Sir chief P.O Ogunnniyi JP and late chief Mrs. Beatrice Oyenibi Ogunniyi. Both parents are from Awe in Oyo state.

Mrs Comfort Adeola Ogundepo passed away peacefully in her sleep at age 77 years on Wednesday, February 6th, 2019.  Mrs. Comfort Adeola Ogundepo began her education at Okelerin Baptist Day School in 1947. This was followed by Idi Aba Baptist Girls School, Abeokuta from 1951 – 1956. She then returned to Ogbomosho and went to a teacher training college. Upon completion at Teacher training college, she started her teaching career as a teacher at Apake Day school, Ogbomosho.  While teaching, she was engaged in trading activities, which earned her more income than the meager teacher’s salary at the time.

She met he husband Mr. Joseph Ogungbenle Ogundepo from ilaji oke area of Okeho, Oke Ogun Oyo state. The young Mr. Ogundepo had established a flourishing photography studio in Ogbomosho known as “Depo Photo Studio “. Both Comfort and Joseph began a courtship, which ended in marriage in 1963.
